I'm heading down to Dunedin next month and just found out about the Gamelan Puspawarna ensemble mentioned in the Cross-Cutting Bonds pavilion. Does anyone know if they perform regularly, or is it invite-only workshop stuff?
They did an open concert at the Dunedin Chinese Garden (Lan Yuan) last year, tying into the sister-garden story — worth checking their page for anything similar this year.
That's a great tip, thank you — didn't expect the gamelan and the garden threads to connect like that.
